"I'd like to take a moment to pay my respects to the almost 3,000 innocent lives of civilians and those attempting to rescue them that were lost at the hands of Al-Qaeda on September 11, 2001. It may have already been 10 years ago, but this national tragedy is still embedded deep in the American mind. We as a nation have moved on, but we will never forget those who were at work inside the Pentagon when disaster struck. We will never forget those who sacrificed themselves on Flight 93 to save countless others from a lethal attack on United States soil. We will never forget those who were taken from their families that day in the World Trade Center towers. May they continue to rest in peace as we honor their souls and sacrifices on this bittersweet day." -Michael
I was 7 when this happened and I remember this like it was yesterday. And the concept that I just couldn't grasp was why people would hate others so much that they would kill 3000 people and just call it "collateral damage". Life isn't about Hate it's supposed to be about Love. Where has the love gone, Earth?
